Get started with Nuxt
Prepare your environment, create a project and run your first Vue page.
1. Prepare your environment
Use a supported Node.js LTS release with npm or pnpm. With nvm, install and select a supported Node.js release. Check the official installation guide below for current requirements.
2. Create a project
Run the commands below and follow the setup prompts to install dependencies. Open the URL printed by the development server.
Terminal
npm create nuxt@latest my-app
cd my-app
npm run dev3. Edit your Vue component
Edit app/app.vue and see changes in the development server. Add Vue files under app/pages when you need separate routes, then explore modules for additional capabilities.
